Dr. Nancy Alexis Calixte

Dr. Nancy Alexis Calixte is a Haitian-American physician and CEO of Miramar Podiatry and Surgery, as well as Calixte Medical Center. She excelled academically from a young age in Haiti and pursued chemistry and mathematics at Barry University, leading to an advanced degree in Biomedical Sciences and a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. As a board-certified podiatric surgeon, she specializes in limb salvage, inspired by veterans and family experiences with diseases like diabetes.

 

Dr. Calixte has extensive experience as a research scientist, helping to develop vital immunoassays used in healthcare. Her commitment extends globally through medical missions and leadership with Partners in Health, providing medical care in underserved regions.

 

Also a talented musician and solo artist, she uses her love for music to enrich her community. Her dedication to family is evident through pursuing an MD alongside her daughter, Valerie.
